We’re officially open!

It’s true you can now paddle on the Famous Ladybower Reservoir. Please book in and pay at the Ladybower fisheries office.  Please don’t launch without booking in it’s taken us a really long time to get the proper permissions to make this happen and we wouldn’t want that taken away due to unauthorised use.

The launch fee is £10 per craft, if you’re bringing a child the minimum age is 8.

Ladybower Paddle Sports is Saturdays 9:30am-3:00pm and by arrangement for larger groups (10 or more), for the use of ;

Kayaks, Canoes, Sit on Kayaks and Pack-rafts and Paddleboards (Must have a chest/waist Quick release leash).

Just turn up to the fisheries office to book on the day. If the weather looks iffy it’s worth ringing before you leave to check we haven’t had to suspend launching. 

Ladybower paddlesports is partnering with DC Outdoors to provide paddlesports instruction and Coaching. 

If you want to learn to paddle a canoe, kayak or Paddleboard, Improve you current skills, maybe you struggle in the wind and would like to work on this or your forward paddling technique, you could even look at safety and rescue skills. Maybe you want just an hour or half a day it’s up to you.
